About the role
The Data Support Administrator provides high-level administrative support across the People function, ensuring the effective delivery of People-related processes and services. This role is central to maintaining accurate colleague records, supporting recruitment and onboarding and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. The postholder will act as a trusted point of contact for colleagues and managers, contributing to a positive colleague experience and efficient People operations.
Key accountabilities
- Data Management: helping to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our systems; performing regular audit to identify and correct data inconsistencies in line with GDPR.
- Generate scheduled and ad-hoc People reports (headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment).
- Extract, gather, and cleanse data to support data insights and workforce decision-making, including the building of formulae.
- Support functionality and troubleshooting.
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes.
- Train HR team members on system usage and reporting tools.
- Ensure data processes align with policies and legal requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes.
- Respond to queries related to data and reporting.
- Provide timely and accurate information to managers and business partners.
- Act as a point of contact for data-related issues.
About you β Technical skills
- Experience in an HR/people administrative role.
- Proficient in the production of reports from a HCM/HRIS system e.g. Dayforce.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets using reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Maintain and update databases such as Excel spreadsheets in a timely manner, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Significant experience in the use of People System i.e. Dayforce, reporting tools and document management systems.
- Familiarity with People analytics and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Strong understanding of People processes and employment legislation.
- Experience supporting colleague relations or payroll processes.
