Come and be part of our Taskforce on the Grand Union Canal in Brent. We will meet at the Hazel Grove Bridge, 19 Hazel Grove, Wembley HA0 1LH, at 10:30 am on May 27, June 18, and July 24.
As a Taskforce Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting your local reservoir by helping us to girdle ivy, preventing it from smothering and killing trees in the area. There will be opportunities to clear paths, collect litter, and tidy up the area.
All tools and equipment will be provided, along with expert and friendly support from our team. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note:
Under 18s must have a guardian present throughout the session.
This event is not for corporate groups; for corporate volunteering days, please visit our corporate volunteering pages.
We welcome people of all abilities and backgrounds. Our team has participated in disability awareness workshops and is happy to support you. However, due to the natural environment and existing pathways, not all sessions are accessible for people with mobility needs. Please contact us to discuss how we can assist you in volunteering with us.
