This role will support the growth of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Turnkey C&I offerings through financial evaluation, partner coordination, and commercial asset management activities. The Asset Manager will play a key role in the development and commercialization of new C&I energy solutions across Europe, with a strong focus on financial and commercial asset management within the solar and storage industry.
The position combines financial analysis, commercial oversight, and strategic support for C&I Turnkey solar and storage solutions. The individual will serve as the commercial counterpart to technical project management teams, ensuring that opportunities are financially viable, scalable, and aligned with market requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Financial & Commercial Asset Management: Evaluate the commercial and financial performance of C&I energy projects and partnerships. Develop business cases, financial models, and profitability analyses for new opportunities and strategic initiatives. Build and manage P&L analyses, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business performance. Support the structuring and evaluation of leasing, financing, and energy participation models. Analyze revenue streams, customer savings models, and long-term value creation opportunities. Support the commercialization of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as part of integrated commercial energy solutions. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making and solution positioning. Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Partner & Commercial Coordination: Act as the commercial counterpart for relationships with C&I electricity retailers, leasing and financing partners, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), EPC companies, end customers and key accounts. Support coordination and alignment between commercial stakeholders and internal teams. Assist in evaluating partnership structures and commercial frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Project Management and technical teams supporting system design and implementation. Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations teams to support successful project execution. Translate market and customer requirements into commercially viable solution structures. Support strategic planning initiatives and market expansion activities.
- Experience in solar, storage, energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in asset management, financial analysis, or commercial operations.
- Understanding of C&I energy markets, BESS solutions, financing structures, or energy services business models.
- Experience working with leasing companies, energy retailers, ESCOs, EPCs, or financial institutions is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally between commercial and technical teams.
- Comfortable operating in an international and fast-growing environment.
