We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Industrial Designer to join our Product Design and Engineering Team, focusing on innovation packaging design for consumer and cosmetics products. This role is responsible for designing user‑centered, visually appealing, and functional packaging solutions, and works closely with engineering to translate validated design intent into manufacturable products throughout the product development cycle.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Early Concept & Research: Contribute to innovation packaging projects by exploring new product ideas with a strong focus on user experience, ergonomics, and real‑world usage. Conduct user research and usability evaluations to inform early design decisions and validate product directions.
  • Concept Development & Design Execution: Develop and refine product concepts through sketches and SolidWorks CAD models, clearly expressing design intent. Create high‑quality 3D renderings using Keyshot (or similar software) to support concept reviews and presentations. Use Photoshop to enhance renderings and visual assets for internal and external communication. Assist in preparing presentation decks for design reviews, internal meetings, and customer‑facing discussions.
  • Prototyping & Validation: Build and evaluate 3D‑printed prototypes to validate functionality, usability, and overall product experience. Support early functional testing and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements before design handoff.
  • Engineering Collaboration & Design Refinement: Collaborate closely with engineers to translate validated design concepts into manufacturable 3D models, considering assembly, tolerances, and production constraints. Refine designs with manufacturing realities in mind, such as injection molding and component assemblies.
  • Development Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide ongoing design support during development, including product modifications, problem solving, and refinement initiatives. Maintain accurate design documentation, including project files, CAD data, and revision records throughout the design cycle.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support innovation storytelling by creating simple motion visuals (animations, GIFs, or short videos) to explain product functionality when needed.
  • Contribute to premium design execution through thoughtful consideration of form, proportion, and visual detail.
  • Stay informed about consumer product trends, packaging innovation, and user behavior, particularly within the cosmetics industry.

What This Role Is: Hands‑on industrial design role embedded within a cross‑functional Product Design and Engineering team. A role that balances creativity, user experience, and manufacturability. A collaborative designer with strong communication and organizational skills.

Background & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Design or equivalent. Ideally 1–3 years of industrial design experience. Strong portfolio required. Proficient with SolidWorks, Keyshot, and Adobe Photoshop. Skills in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
