As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for building and growing Wood Gundy client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice and exceptional client service.

As a Client Associate, you will work closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business.

You will directly engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience.

To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time Monday through Friday.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $48,880 to $56,980.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs.

Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

Work closely with Investment Advisors to support business development activities and assist in the building of investment plans based on the client’s profile, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.

Who you are

  • You’re a certified professional.

You have current accreditation and are in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).

  • Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience and working knowledge of various quotation equipment is required.
