* Identify business control weaknesses, and objectively assess the severity and materiality of the issues and their potential impact on the business.

* Work with business management to develop action plans based on realistic and workable solutions, to mitigate the risk and exposure in the long term.

* Provide effective and timely communication on risks and issues with influence and judgment to create positive outcomes.

* Foster a positive team environment that looks for ways to enhance audit guidelines and practice development and to improve efficiency and audit experience.

* Play an advisory role in matters related to risk assessment and controls.

* In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Capital Markets related businesses, products, risks, processes and controls.

* Minimum 5 years proven and progressive experience in Audit, Capital Markets, product Control, or other equivalent experience.

* Professional designation/certification such as CPA, CFA, FRM, CIA or equivalent would be an asset.

* Experience in Private Credit, Collateral Financing, Prime Brokerage, and other similar areas.

* Relationship building.
