Reporting & Analysis – Review daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial results and provide high quality, insightful and timely analysis of financial performance for Europe & APAC Capital Markets businesses. Provide continual insight and support the effective management of Balance Sheet, Funding/Liquidity and Capital Resources (RWA, Leverage and Economic Capital). Ensure that reporting and analysis keep pace with the changing business and environment.
Planning and Forecasting – Lead and coordinate the development of the financial strategic and business plans for Capital Markets in Europe & APAC regions. Work closely with business heads, Risk and Capital Management, CIBC Infrastructure partners and various governance groups to ensure reasonableness of market assumptions and impact of expected regulatory changes to ensure successful execution. Coordinate with the CFO(s) of various legal entities and ensure the alignment and integration of management region and legal entities plans and forecasts. Understand and review allocations to the business and be able to work closely with the counterparts in other areas of the organisation.
