As an Operations Manager (Programs/Services) at CFMWS within our Personnel Support Programs (PSP) team, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and deliver exceptional customer service to clients - members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families. You will collaborate with your team and external stakeholders to ensure programs and services operate seamlessly, swiftly intervening to identify and implement necessary solutions when operational issues arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing budgets and tracking procurement orders
  • Managing expenses and developing business and marketing strategies
  • Fostering effective communication within your team
  • Adeptly handling conflicts that may arise

Qualifications needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Recreation/Sports Administration or a related field
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and managing business operations
  • Experience in applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
  • Experience in preparing marketing strategies and business planning
  • Experience in managing facilities and personnel administration
  • Experience in budget administration

Competencies required include client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership.

Language requirements: English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
