SkyAlyne is a team of defense, training, simulation, and aviation industry experts assembled from across Canada, working to prepare the next generation of Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Pilots and Aircrew as the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program provider for the RCAF. In 2023 SkyAlyne was named the preferred bidder, and in 2024, was officially contracted to partner with the RCAF and deliver the FAcT program.
The FAcT Program Coordinator is located in Southport, MB and reports to the FAcT Program Director. Their primary focus is to provide administrative and operational support across three locations for the planning and execution of the transition-in and establishment of the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program’s Site Support Services and Facility Management.
Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination, review, tracking, and submission of transition plans, reports, and deliverables related to site services and facility management.
- Assist with the coordination and documentation of operational service inputs during transition, including accommodations, transportation, food services, emergency response, Air Traffic Control and Aeronautical Information Services, refueling, facility maintenance, Occupational Health & Safety, environmental and energy management, and other related services.
- Track requirements associated with site services and facility management activities and support the coordination of inputs and updates from responsible service providers during the transition phase.
- Liaise with subcontracted service providers to consolidate documentation and support tracking of progress against transition milestones.
- Maintain transition schedules, action logs, risk registers, and readiness checklists to support structured and timely implementation activities.
- Prepare agendas and briefing materials, including recording of meeting minutes and action items with clients, subcontractors and working groups.
- Provide document control activities, including version control, filing, and controlled distribution of transition and operational documentation.
- Assist with preparation for inspections, reviews, and readiness activities by organizing records and assembling supporting documentation.
- Maintain coordination and administrative support activities as services progress from transition to steady-state operations.
- Perform any other tasks as designated by the Program Director.
Education Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
Work Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Project Coordination, Logistics or Facility Services experience in a military or aviation environment industry is a significant asset.
Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and technical teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing and able to travel to training sites in Moose Jaw, SK, Portage la Prairie, MB and Winnipeg, MB as required.
- Strong oral and written English language capabilities; fluency in French is an asset.
- Eligible to obtain a Secret Security clearance and Controlled Goods Clearance from the Government of Canada.
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Proficient user of Project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

To obtain a Secret Security Clearance from the Government of Canada, applicants must undergo a comprehensive 10-year background check. This includes financial and criminal record checks, as well as a security assessment conducted by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). Applicants will be required to provide detailed information covering the past 10 years, including employment, education, and residency history. For this reason, continuous residency in Canada for the last 10 years is a mandatory requirement.
