An excellent opportunity to join an award-winning team in this newly created role. As part of our ever-expanding B2B growth, you will take responsibility for attracting, retaining and growing our trade partners within Scotland, North England (Newcastle to the Borders) and Northern Ireland. This role will suit an ambitious, self-starter with great travel trade relations and a genuine passion for travel.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact with portfolio of key accounts through retail field sales.
  • Attend trade/consumer shows as required independently or as part of the Canadian Affair & American Affair sales team.
  • Implementation of any incentive programmes with our retail trade partners.
  • Apply a 'can-do' attitude - including a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve desired results and must have a goal driven attitude.
  • Join weekly sales meetings to identify market trends, highlighting sales opportunities and recommending any corrective action required.
  • Escorted familiarisation trips as and when required.

Competencies:

  • A team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Client relationship building.
  • Results focused.
  • Projects enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Overnight travel will be required on a regular basis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Possesses tact, diplomacy and an understanding of business confidentiality.
  • Responsive to organisational and team needs.

Work environment:

  • Home based with regular domestic travel.
  • International travel to Canada will be required.
  • Periodic visits to the London office.
  • Must hold a full and clean driver license.
