We are looking for a strategic and execution‑focused Manager, Product Marketing to support marketing for our Workplace Benefits & Retirement business. Reporting into the Director, Product Marketing, this role is accountable for translating product and customer insight into clear positioning, compelling go-to-market strategies and effective marketing execution across the customer lifecycle. This role balances leadership and hands-on execution, operating as a "player-coach" who both leads a team of product marketers and directly contributes to priority initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to challenge conventional approaches, elevate strategic thinking across the team, and drive disciplined execution on the highest‑impact opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop a high‑performing marketing team.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of product marketing professionals, setting clear expectations for both strategic thinking and execution excellence.
- Elevate team capability by coaching on thinking, not just reviewing outputs.
- Foster a culture that challenges status quo, encourages diverse perspectives and pushes for simpler, more impactful solutions.
- Own and lead go-to-market strategies for priority initiatives, leading by example to ensure business alignment and strong customer experiences.
- Develop clear product positioning, messaging frameworks and value propositions that resonate with plan sponsors and advisors and guide downstream marketing.
- Apply customer, market and competitive insight to inform messaging, campaign strategy and prioritization.
- Translate complex products and technical concepts into simple, engaging, customer-friendly language.
- Partner closely with Brand, Communications, Digital, Experience, Product and Sales Enablement teams.
- Define, monitor and report on marketing performance and utilization, leveraging insights to optimize ongoing and future efforts.
- Contribute to a test-and-learn approach and continuous improvement using digital analytics and marketing best practices.
What You Bring:
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing.
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience leading or mentoring teams, with a passion for developing talent and elevating team capability.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within financial services, insurance, workplace benefits, retirement, or a regulated industry is a strong asset.
What we offer:
- Career Development: Opportunities for career advancement, access to industry-leading learning programs and up to $2,000 annually towards education reimbursement.
- Health & Wellness: Flexible health and dental benefits, plus a $5,000 mental health benefit to support your well-being.
- Time Off: In addition to regular vacation and personal days, we support community involvement with a volunteer day.
- Financial Security: Company-matching pension plan, share ownership program and additional investment options.
- Rewards and Recognition: Employee recognition programs, service milestone celebrations, employee discounts and more!
- Emphasis on Community: We provide a workplace where employees feel connected and supported through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), mentorship programs, social clubs and events.
We’re committed to removing barriers and ensuring equal access to employment.
