Quality Assurance & Insights is seeking a strategic, technology-minded professional who can bridge business needs and technology solutions to help transform Quality into a modern, data-driven, scalable function. The Lead Quality Analyst supports Quality Assurance & Insights transformation initiatives by leading analysis, process improvement, technology implementation, reporting enhancements, and continuous improvement activities. Working closely with Quality leaders, Technology partners, and operational stakeholders, this role identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, enable automation, and enhance quality outcomes. Acting as a key link between business and technology teams, the Lead Quality Analyst helps deliver solutions that align with business needs and support the evolution of a scalable, insight-driven quality function.
What you will do
- Business Transformation & Change Accountability
- Lead the analysis, documentation, and implementation support for strategic business transformation initiatives impacting Quality Assurance & Insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality processes, workflows, governance, and operational efficiency through technology and automation.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and implementation plans.
- Support organizational change initiatives by helping teams adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working.
- Act as a subject matter expert on quality operations during enterprise transformation projects.
- Technology & Automation Enablement
- Partner with Technology, Data, AI, and Business teams to support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and digital transformation projects.
- Evaluate current state processes and identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and elimination of manual activities.
- Support testing, validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities for new solutions.
- Assist in the development of future-state operating models that leverage automation, AI, and advanced analytics.
- Monitor implementation results and recommend enhancements to maximize business value.
- Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Lead process mapping and root cause analysis exercises to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and drive solution design.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
- Recommend best practices that improve consistency, quality outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights and performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Delivery
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, quality teams, technology partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Prepare executive-level materials, presentations, business cases, and status reporting.
- Assist leadership with strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of transformation roadmaps.
- Data & Insights
- Analyze operational and quality data to support decision-making and solution recommendations.
- Develop reporting requirements and collaborate on dashboard and analytics solutions.
- Measure business outcomes and benefits realization associated with transformation initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on trends, performance results, and stakeholder feedback.
What you will bring
- Must Have
- Post-secondary education in Business, Technology, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A combination of financial Services, Wealth, Insurance, Contact Centre, Claims, or Operations experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Transformation roles.
- Proven experience supporting a combination of business process redesign, technology/reporting implementations, automation initiatives, or operational transformation projects.
- Demonstrated experience supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience developing business requirements, process maps, business cases, and executive presentations.
- Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma certification considered an asset.
- Experience with Power BI, process mapping tools (Visio), Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience preparing executive-level business cases and strategic recommendations.
Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London, Toronto and Winnipeg.
The base salary for this position is between $53,900 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
