As an associate manager at Canada Life, you’ll plan and deliver marketing campaigns and business communications. You have a talent for crafting stories and experiences to spark the desired response or action in our advisory audiences. What you will do
- Position the Canada Life Individual Wealth products as strategic aspects of the wealth management story
- Create, develop and implement key product marketing strategies for the Investment Management and Sales Enablement teams
- Manage campaigns and initiatives from duration to completion, and measure success
- Bring a positive and collaborative attitude to team and business partner working relationships
Lead and manage projects by:
- Developing, socializing and executing a variety of strategic, high-quality marketing plans
- Documenting all plans, tactics, approvals in Workfront and SharePoint
- Setting and meeting timelines
- Providing consistent progress updates and any setbacks, as required
- Defining, monitoring and tracking marketing utilization, performance and analytics to optimize efforts and report to stakeholders
Build relationships and business acumen by:
- Collaborating with other teams including product, digital, creative, operations, legal, compliance, risk and business development
- Identifying the right stakeholders at the right time
- Demonstrating marketing best practices and brand strategies
- Focusing on results and a culture of accountability
- Adapting to change that improves organizational performance
What you will bring
- 5+ years of marketing communications experience
- Experience in wealth marketing and working with advisors is a notable asset
- Understanding of wealth management industry and mutual fund knowledge
- Experienced in multi-disciplined marketing: product, agile, digital, distribution etc.
- Strong demonstrated business and marketing writing skills - you’ll need to submit samples or complete writing exercises as part of the selection process
- Ability to translate technical details and industry jargon into plain language
- Proven project management skills
- University degree or college diploma in Communications or Marketing
The base salary for this position is between $68,400 - $125,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
