We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Associate Manager, Content Marketing to join our team on a 12‑month contract. In this role, you’ll create clear, engaging and actionable content that helps workplace benefit and retirement plan members better understand their plans and confidently use them to support their health and wealth goals. You’ll translate complex concepts into plain language, practical guidance and compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences. Working closely with internal business partners, you’ll act as a trusted content expert, bringing forward strong recommendations and thoughtful execution.

What you will do:

  • Create content for a member education portfolio, including emails, newsletters, digital content, and presentation materials.
  • Translate complex benefit, retirement, and financial concepts into plain‑language, engaging communications.
  • Support lifecycle and journey‑based marketing by identifying opportunities to educate members while encouraging appropriate plan utilization.
  • Develop and refine email marketing and newsletter content to drive awareness, understanding, and engagement over time.
  • Use performance data, insights, and feedback to inform content strategy and recommendations – finding creative ways to gather meaningful data points when traditional metrics are limited.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, legal, compliance, and business teams) to deliver accurate, effective content.
  • Apply insights from financial services trends, member needs and engagement data to inform content strategies.
  • Use AI tools to efficiently create, refine, and optimize copy while maintaining a strong brand voice.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, regulatory requirements and accessibility best practices.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience creating communications that make financial topics easy to understand.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with experience across email, newsletter, and digital channels.
  • Experience with lifecycle or journey‑based marketing, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • Ability to use data and insights to shape content strategy and demonstrate impact, including comfort experimenting with new ways to collect engagement signals.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with internal partners and confidently offering your expertise.
  • Awareness of trends and evolving best practices within the financial services industry.
  • Experience using AI enabled tools to speed up workflows and enhance content quality.

Education and experience:

  • Post‑secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a marketing role.
