We are looking for an experienced Medical Underwriter to help us deliver an outstanding service for our customers. Experience in medical underwriting, with a recognised underwriting authority. To provide fair and balanced underwriting decisions within own authority limits assessing initial applications and additional medical evidence.

  • As well as a strong technical background, you will also be able to demonstrate stakeholder management and communication skills, liaising with customer services, sales, reinsurance partners and medical officers.
  • Experience of working within a Medical Underwriting Team and making an accurate assessment of medical evidence gathered.
  • Understanding of underwriting manuals and processes.
