Position Overview: The Sr. Manager, Global Pricing will lead the evolution of Canada Goose’s global pricing capability within the Merchandising function. This role will be responsible for establishing a strategic, globally consistent approach to price setting and execution across categories, regions, and channels.
As the leader of the Pricing team, this individual will partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Finance, Regional Commercial teams, and Technology to translate customer value and commercial performance into pricing decisions that strengthen Canada Goose’s brand positioning and support its commercial and financial objectives.
About The Role:
- Pricing Strategy
- Define and maintain Canada Goose’s global pricing architecture across categories, geographies, and channels.
- Develop pricing recommendations that balance customer value and willingness to pay, brand equity, commercial growth, margin attainment, and regional competitiveness.
- Facilitate cross-functional pricing discussions and ensure decisions are made with the right inputs, stakeholders, and escalation paths.
- Commercial Activation
- Partner with Merchandising, Finance, Regional Commercial teams, DTC, and Wholesale to embed pricing input across the GTM calendar.
- Translate product strategy, assortment intent, historical performance, competitive positioning, and customer demand signals into actionable pricing guardrails.
- Define when global pricing consistency should be maintained and when regional or channel-specific adjustments are commercially justified.
- Champion adoption of new pricing processes across Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Regions, DTC, and Wholesale.
- Analytics & Insights
- Lead pricing analytics, including but not limited to, price performance, elasticity, margin, and competitive price positioning.
- Collaboratively design practical pricing tools and dashboards that enable pricing visibility, decision-making speed, and performance.
- Establish feedback loops that connect in-season and post-season performance to future pricing strategy.
- Partner with Technology, Data, and Finance teams to improve pricing data quality, automate recurring analyses, and define requirements for pricing tools, dashboards, and system integrations.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and elevate the Global Pricing team.
- Build a team culture grounded in analytical rigor, commercial judgment, cross-functional partnership, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a senior pricing thought partner to Merchandising and executive leadership.
About You:
- 8 – 10 years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial planning or finance, revenue management, retail analytics, or related functions.
- Experience in luxury retail, apparel, consumer goods, or global branded products strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to balance brand positioning, customer value, competitive dynamics, and financial objectives.
- Experience developing pricing frameworks, governance models, decision rights, and repeatable business processes.
- Strong analytical capability, including comfort with pricing models, margin analysis, elasticity, price corridors, SKU productivity, and scenario modeling.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across Merchandising, Finance, Commercial, Channel, and Technology teams to drive business impact.
- Experience leading teams and building capabilities in a matrixed, global organization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear executive recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence and data analytics tools; working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Merchandising, Analytics, or a related field; MBA or advanced analytical degree preferred.
