Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for working closely with customers and carriers to ensure excellent service levels while maintaining healthy profit margins and revenue growth.

Keep and expand existing customer base and add new customers by following sales plan.

Schedule: Days, 40 hours, flexible start time

What You Will Do

  • Coordinating LTL and FTL pickups and deliveries
  • Cost controls
  • Customer service including tracking and tracing
  • Enforce carrier compliance
  • Carrier Selection and rate negotiations
  • Carrier invoice auditing
  • Trouble shooting
  • Order entry including costing and revenue allocation for invoicing purposes

  • High school diploma + 1 year certificate
  • Freight brokerage experience
  • Along With The Following Skills & Competencies
  • Possess strong administrative experience with high volume analytical and documentation skills
  • Experience with coordinating shipments
  • Practical knowledge of the logistics environment and planning
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent customer communication skills for both internal and external interaction
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
