Cana Consulting is partnering with a global, technology-driven manufacturing organisation headquartered in the UK. Due to continued growth and regulatory complexity across its international operations, the business is expanding its compliance function.
This role will lead data governance and emerging technology compliance initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage global data protection compliance (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other applicable frameworks).
- Oversee DPIAs, data mapping, retention policies, and cross-border data transfers.
- Support digital transformation and privacy-by-design initiatives.
- Develop governance frameworks for AI usage, automated decision-making, and emerging technologies.
- Monitor regulatory developments relating to AI and digital compliance.
- Deliver compliance training and manage incident response relating to data breaches.
- Strong experience in data protection, privacy, and governance frameworks.
- Exposure to AI governance, digital risk, or emerging technology compliance preferred.
- Experience operating in multinational corporate environments.
