CAN Engineering part of the RSK Group has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Equipment Specialist to join their team in Chesterfield, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the yard & stores, carrying out activities on behalf of the company on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring that work is undertaken safely and efficiently.
- Assist with goods in & out; check certification of equipment; check returned equipment including maintenance; load and unload wagons/lorries; return equipment to racking and shelving; complete picking lists generated by the warehouse management system (outside stock); help empty finished projects (Geo‑containers).
- Clean out any plant & vehicles returned from site, including welfare vehicles.
- Count any materials returned to the yard; this will be added to the stock‑take system via stores manager.
- Maintain high standards of discipline and general yard tidiness, including compliance with general and specific site rules.
- Maintain high standards of personal conduct in all work‑related actions.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be flexible in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Bring ideas, recommendations, and concerns to management.
- Always comply with the company’s health and safety procedures.
Person Specification:
- No experience required as full training will be provided.
- Previous yard and/or warehouse work advantageous.
- Good skill set around hand and power tools, rope access, PPE, etc.
