Research Personnel Administrator (Part time)(Internal applicants only)

The part time Research Personnel Administrator role is a key role in the Department of Chemistry as it provides an efficient and effective administrative support in a very busy office dealing with staff, post graduate students and visitors. The role involves research personnel administration as well as assisting with general HR administration. This includes processing visitor agreements, generating letters, organising small scale events and meetings, taking meeting minutes, managing stationary supplies and liaising with other departments and organisations.Educated to at least GCSE-level or equivalent, the ideal candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, be well organised in prioritising their work, be flexible in their approach and have excellent communication and IT skills along with a strong sense of team playing and working flexibly across a varied workload. Recent experience of working in a department in a similar role is essential.
