Job Description
What will I be doing
- Supporting on the accurate and timely processing of designated payrolls journals,
- Responding on any queries around those journals you are responsible for,
- Updating and reconciling the monthly So FP and/or So PL workbook,
- Month end accruals and prepayment posting,
- Assisting with all audits including group consolidated, parent and subsidiary individual audits,
- Posting benefits and payroll invoices and any prepayment releases.
- Supporting on Ad Hoc Reporting - STBV, PSA and Gender Pay Gap.
What experience do I need
- AAT Level 4 required and ideally working towards ACCA/CIMA,
- A background of working in a payroll or accounting team, preferably within a medium/large sized international company,
- Proficiency in the use of Excel and Word, and advanced proficiency in accounting software and systems,
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and able to prioritise work within defined timelines,
- Confident in addressing and escalating matters with colleagues in order to resolve underlying issues,
- Effective communication skills with finance and non-finance staff, collaborative, proactive and able to tackle both new and routine tasks,
- Flexible working to accommodate key monthly deadlines at peak times,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply payroll data to improve processes and resolve issues.
