Imagine being the person quietly making the whole CampWild experience work. CampWild is on a mission to help more people spend 24 hours in nature by unlocking wild spaces across the UK. Behind every booking, every message and every adventure is a web of systems, pages, tools and journeys that need to run smoothly. We are looking for someone to take ownership of that.
As our Community Platform Coordinator, you will sit at the heart of CampWild’s digital world. You will be responsible for shaping and managing the website, booking systems, content and automations that help our community discover spaces, book adventures and get outside. You will be working across systems, data, pages and processes, designing and configuring the platform so everything feels simple, reliable and easy to use for our members. This is not just about maintaining what already exists. It is about actively improving how the platform looks, feels and works.
About you
You are someone who likes making things work. You enjoy spotting when something is broken, slow or confusing and finding a way to fix it. You are dynamic, organised and comfortable working across lots of different tasks at once. You have a strong eye for detail and you care deeply about things being done properly. You are naturally operational and love problem solving. You are happy working inside digital tools, websites and systems, setting things up, improving flows and keeping everything running smoothly. You are also creative and have ideas of your own. You enjoy thinking about how things could look better, read better or work better for people using them. You are not afraid to suggest improvements or try new approaches. Most importantly, you are excited by the idea of helping people have better outdoor adventures and you care about making that experience easy, accessible and inspiring.
What you will do
This is a practical, hands on role that keeps CampWild running smoothly. You will be responsible for the systems that sit behind the community and booking experience, including:
- Platform, pages and content
- Managing the CampWild website, CMS and page layouts using Wix
- Designing and updating pages to support new spaces, campaigns and community needs
- Creating and updating visual content using Canva
- Keeping Wild Space listings, profiles and content accurate and up to date
- Making sure pages are clear, engaging and easy for members to use
- Bookings, systems and automations
- Monitoring the booking journey from start to finish
- Managing and creating automations, emails and system flows
- Improving how people move through the platform from discovery to booking
- Data and quality control
- Keeping systems and data clean, organised and reliable
- Making sure information is accurate and clearly delivered to members
- Spotting patterns, issues or inconsistencies in the platform
- Problem solving
- Proactively finding things that are not working
- Investigating what is going wrong and finding ways to fix it
- Being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes
Your job is to make sure the CampWild platform feels simple, reliable and easy to use.
About CampWild
CampWild is unlocking new ways to experience the outdoors. We are an online community of members who want to get out into nature and spend 24 or 48 hours under the stars. We were founded by Tom and Alex and are now in our third year of creating meaningful, memorable outdoor experiences across the UK. To make this possible, we work with hosts and landowners of all shapes and sizes to create Wild Spaces that give our members access to incredible places to spend time outdoors responsibly. We focus on breaking down barriers, educating people and helping them feel confident to explore nature in a way that is good for them and good for the land. Our systems are a big part of that. This role is the glue that holds those adventures together.
