For the last 19 years, CampusLife has been making video for universities, student accommodation providers and student brands across the UK. We’re the market leaders in this space and demand for our work keeps growing. We’re a small, close team based in Headingley, Leeds, creating content that reaches students at one of the biggest moments of their lives.
We’re looking for a junior editor with real editing experience: someone with a creative eye and a feel for storytelling who wants to grow their skills alongside an experienced production team. Importantly, we seek someone we can train and develop into a key part of our post-production team long-term.
THIS IS AN OFFICE-BASED ROLE
What you’d actually do:
- Edit video for our university and student accommodation clients, taking projects from rough footage to finished film.
- Work closely with our directors, producers and camera ops to take ideas from concept to delivery.
- Have proper creative freedom in post-production to lift the quality and style of what we make.
- Bring a love of detail and a sharp sense of timing to everything you cut.
- Work full-time from our office in Headingley.
You’ll be brilliant at this if you:
- Have proven experience as a video editor.
- Know your way around Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Can tell a story through an edit and know what makes content connect with young people.
- Take feedback well and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Stay calm and organised with several projects on the go.
Why it’s worth it:
You’ll be working on real client projects from day one, with a team that’s committed to helping you learn and develop. Your work will be seen by students up and down the country, and you’ll join a close-knit team that cares about work/life balance and is good company.
The perks:
Starting salary of £26,000, private healthcare, company away days, regular social events, on-site parking and good public transport links.
