Job Description
Reporting through the Facilities Team, this person will possess energy, positivity and initiative and be committed, flexible, confident and team focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of day-to-day maintenance services, to ensure all village facilities remain in good order
- Conduct quarterly inspections of resident’s apartments to ensure that they are maintained to appropriate standard
- Assist Facilities Manager & PSC in working with relevant suppliers and contractors to ensure appropriate service delivery, ongoing safety management, to build effective working relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Assist Village Management to ensure that risk and safety systems are followed and effectively implemented to protect the welfare of residents and staff
- All other reasonable duties from time to time as directed by Village Management
- The responsibilities of this role may evolve based on the changing needs of our residents and the business. We seek candidates who are adaptable and open to taking on new challenges as they arise.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general facilities and maintenance
- Previous experience performing a variety of repair work appropriate to the village
- Previous experience in roles that require interaction with customers
- Demonstrated initiative to problem solving
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills with attention to detail to meet tight timeframes
- OH&S, Risk or Safety related qualification would be highly regarded
- Current National Police Clearance Check
