The Senior Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising targeted email, WhatsApp, and marketing automation campaigns that drive lead generation, client engagement, and retention. This role combines hands‑on campaign delivery with strategic input, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement to enhance the customer journey and ensure GDPR‑compliant, high‑impact communications across all digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, build, and deliver engaging email and WhatsApp campaigns that support lead generation, service promotions, company announcements, and client communications.
  • Develop, implement, and optimise automated marketing workflows to nurture leads and improve client retention.
  • Liaise with third‑party suppliers and platform providers to ensure smooth campaign delivery, system performance, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with website and offline channel owners to ensure consistent messaging and an integrated, omnichannel customer experience.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective, data‑driven email marketing activity.
  • Act as a key point of contact for email and WhatsApp campaign requests, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance with internal processes.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, engagement trends), reporting insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Help maintain and enhance CRM and data integrity, ensuring segmentation accuracy and reliable automation triggers.
  • Identify and implement improvements to customer journey flows, segmentation logic, and campaign timing for better engagement outcomes.
  • Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance across all email and WhatsApp communications.
  • Contribute to marketing team best practices, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

  • 3+ years’ hands‑on experience in digital marketing with a focus on email, WhatsApp, and automation campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g. Integrated Interest).
  • Proven experience building and optimising multi‑step customer journeys and nurture flows.
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email builds and understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems, data segmentation, and lead scoring.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding of GDPR and data privacy best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
