About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Build to Rent Lettings Negotiator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the leasing of high‑quality rental properties within our Build to Rent (BTR) portfolio across London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast‑growing sector and work in a customer‑focused, modern ‘lifestyle’ rental environment.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify new applicants and guide them through the lettings process from initial enquiry to tenancy agreement and move in.
- Arrange and conduct property viewings with professionalism and enthusiasm and in depth knowledge of our BTR developments and amenities.
- Handle inbound inquiries and generate interest through proactive marketing and networking.
- Negotiate tenancy terms to secure the best outcome for both Landlord and Tenant.
- Conduct referencing checks and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation is met.
- Deliver exceptional service to applicants, residents, and landlords.
- Manage client expectations effectively, aiming to exceed them every time.
- Collaborate with the BTR in‑house teams to ensure a seamless move‑in experience.
- Introduce new business opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in lettings, sales or a customer‑facing sales role - BTR experience is advantageous but not necessary.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills with a customer‑centric approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- A proactive and driven attitude with a passion for property.
- Knowledge of relevant rental legislation and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
