Your Role, Your Impact
As a Major Works Project Co‑ordinator, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and efficient section 20 requirements throughout, analysing major works requirements and producing reports on a regular and ad‑hoc basis. You will also manage efficient input into IT systems to support the major works remit. This role will report into the Major Works Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the progression of major works projects through all stages of the section 20 process.
- Highlight and resolve blockages or issues within the lifecycle of each project.
- Work on a balanced caseload of individual projects as part of the existing team.
- Ensure effective and timely updates to the property manager on any development‑specific issues relating to the major works and long‑term projects.
- Collaborate with the customer service and operations departments and share development‑specific knowledge and information in relation to long‑term projects.
- Ensure written communication is processed and responded to professionally and in accordance with targets and service level agreements set by the MS management team.
- Take responsibility and ownership of individual workload, ensuring all work relating to major works/long‑term projects from Property Managers, residents, contractors or other customers is undertaken in accordance with the service level agreement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- IT competency to an intermediate level.
- Confident, articulate communicator – both orally and in writing; able to build relationships with all levels of stakeholder with a resolution‑focused mentality.
- Efficient in maintaining administration and record keeping electronically.
- Demonstrable ability to deal with problems and challenges effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure, resilient, able to prioritise and manage time effectively.
