Property Manager
Location: Islington
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (hybrid role after settling period)
Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 + Commission
We are recruiting a Property Manager to join our thriving Property Management Department. The ideal candidate will have previous property management experience and thrive under pressure. We seek an energetic individual who delivers exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Main Duties
- Embrace the Chestertons brand and core values
- Protect clients\’ assets and work in their best interests
- Retain management on the portfolio
- Prioritize and troubleshoot maintenance issues (floods, boilers, leaks, appliances)
- Scrutinize quotes on behalf of clients
- Add value when sending inspection reports
- Negotiate deposit deductions fairly and efficiently within timeframes
- Understand KPIs for the role
- Consistently note on RPS and attach documents to the letters folder
- Set and follow up on tasks for issue management and team support
- Develop understanding of client accounts and statements
- Participate in local branch meetings and fulfill inspection requirements
- Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with senior leadership
- Coordinate with supporting departments (lettings, compliance, accounts, tenancy progression)
- Support team growth and development
- Ensure portfolio compliance (EICR, Gas Safety Certificates)
- Adhere to department standards
- Inform tenants and landlords about tenancy end processes
- Guide clients on deposit dilapidation processes
