Head of Business Development
Salary: £60,000 + Commission Location: Euston Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 6pm Purpose of the Role
Head of Business Development is responsible for leading and managing an outbound inside-sales team (~30 heads) focused on business-to-consumer (B2C) sales. This role involves strategising, executing, and optimising sales processes to drive revenue growth and achieve company targets. The Sales Manager will lead and inspire the team to generate new opportunities for the Front Offices, maximise inbound lead conversions, and identify new business within the existing contact base. Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and develop Team Leaders and Associate Directors.
- Train the whole department on the skills and knowledge to be successful.
- Focus the team to deliver a continuous flow of qualified meetings / leads for Front Office teams.
- Partner with Front Office to maximise conversion and close rates.
- Reactivate and nurture lapsed client relationships.
- Own team culture, engagement and performance standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements that lift conversion and speed‑to‑revenue.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (Marketing, Rev Ops, Branch Directors).
- Recruit and onboard new starters.
- Conduct performance management or disciplinary meetings or all team members.
