Job Summary
We’re entering an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a hire that can take us to the next level. As our Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll be a foundational member of the team, bringing in best practices and deep expertise across paid channels, analytics, and automation. You’ll have the freedom to shape our performance marketing strategy from the ground up—designing campaigns, building scalable processes, and implementing data‑driven frameworks that set us up for sustainable growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Performance Marketing, you’ll be the go‑to expert for driving measurable results and ensuring every marketing pound delivers impact. You’ll collaborate closely with product, content, and commercial teams, helping to create a performance marketing engine that fuels our next stage of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Search Management: Own and optimise Google Ads, Bing, and other PPC campaigns to drive quality leads and sales.
- Affiliate Marketing: Manage and grow affiliate partnerships, negotiating rates and ensuring positive ROI.
- Email Marketing & Automation: Develop automated lifecycle campaigns (acquisition, nurture, retention) using CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use Google Analytics and other BI tools to track KPIs, create dashboards, and provide actionable insights.
- Budget Management: Allocate spend across channels to maximise efficiency and hit performance targets.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Continuously test creative, audience, and bidding strategies to improve performance.
- Team Management: Managed cross‑functional teams, aligning efforts to achieve strategic goals and deadlines.
- Collaboration: Work cross‑functionally with content, product, and design teams to ensure performance campaigns are aligned with business objectives.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay on top of trends, benchmarks, and emerging opportunities in digital marketing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in performance marketing across paid search, affiliates, and email.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable ROI and scaling paid channels.
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and coordinate projects effectively.
- Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel/Sheets, and reporting dashboards.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Klaviyo, or similar).
- Familiarity with attribution models, conversion tracking, and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing employees to reach their full potential.
- Experience in delegating tasks effectively while maintaining accountability and quality standards.
- Growth mindset: data‑oriented, test‑and‑learn approach, and always looking for optimisation opportunities.
- Working experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT.
