About the Role

Are you passionate about developing people and improving performance where it really matters? We’re looking for an L&D Specialist to design and deliver high-impact, practical learning across our estate agency network. This is a hands-on role combining facilitation, coaching, and learning design. All underpinned by a structured skills framework and driven by real business performance outcomes.

You’ll work closely with leaders and frontline teams to build capability in sales, lettings, property management, compliance, and leadership, ensuring learning translates directly into better customer outcomes and stronger commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders and operational managers to identify capability gaps using KPIs, customer insight, and compliance data
  • Translate performance data into clear, prioritised learning and development needs aligned to business objectives
  • Design and deliver engaging, practical, skills-based training across Sales, Lettings, Property Management, and Branch Management roles
  • Create blended learning solutions including workshops, virtual sessions, coaching guides, role plays, job aids, and microlearning content
  • Facilitate high-impact training sessions focused on real-world application and measurable performance improvement
  • Deliver structured onboarding programmes that accelerate new starter confidence, capability, and speed to competence
  • Support acquisition onboarding, ensuring smooth integration of new colleagues into systems, standards, and culture
  • Design and deliver targeted performance booster programmes focused on key commercial skills such as conversion, pipeline, and negotiation
  • Provide live coaching in branch environments, including call listening, valuations, shadowing, and structured feedback
  • Embed compliance, customer experience, and professional standards across all learning activity (CPRs, AML, TPO/PRS, Propertymark)
  • Measure and evaluate learning impact using behavioural and business metrics, continuously refining programmes to improve performance outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, estate agency, or a performance-focused training role
  • Strong track record of designing and delivering training that drives measurable behavioural and performance improvement
  • Confident facilitator with experience delivering engaging, practical, skills-based training in live and virtual environments
  • Ability to translate business KPIs, customer insight, and compliance data into clear learning priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and operational managers
  • Commercial awareness of estate agency performance drivers including conversion, pipeline management, fees, and customer experience
  • Experience building blended learning solutions (workshops, digital content, job aids, role play, microlearning)
  • Understanding of onboarding and accelerated performance programmes for new starters and acquisitions
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including CPRs, AML, Estate Agents Act, and industry codes of practice
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate training impact using data and performance metrics
