Lettings Manager – Camden Chestertons Estate Agency

Location: Camden, London

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm (Saturday Rota)

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Lettings Manager to lead our busy Camden office. We are seeking a strong brand ambassador with extensive estate agency experience who can inspire, coach, and develop a high‑performing lettings team while driving business growth and increasing market share across the local area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record within residential lettings, strong local market knowledge, and the leadership skills required to deliver exceptional results in a competitive London market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a successful lettings team within a fast‑paced office environment
  • Create a positive and high‑performing culture where team members are supported to achieve their full potential
  • Set clear targets and objectives, managing individual and team performance against KPIs
  • Drive new business generation and grow market share across Camden and surrounding areas
  • Monitor revenue and expenditure against budget targets
  • Produce accurate and timely management reporting
  • Handle escalated complaints professionally and ensure swift resolution
  • Ensure all company systems, processes, policies, and relevant legislation are adhered to
  • Monitor local competitor activity and implement strategies to maximise profitability and performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, applicants, and local business contacts

Requirements & Experience

  • 5–10 years’ experience within estate agency, ideally within residential lettings
  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience leading successful teams
  • Strong understanding of the Camden and wider North London property market preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Excellent market appraisal and conversion ability
  • Established network of local business contacts and clients
  • In‑depth knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the residential property market
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
