We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Leasing Manager to lead our new and successful dedicated Build to Rent (BTR) team covering schemes across London and the South West. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident brand ambassador with strong leadership skills and knowledge of the BTR and built sector to manage a motivated young team and work closely with institutional clients across a high-quality BTR portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a service led environment, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and has a proven track record of driving occupancy, performance, and customer satisfaction.
The Role
As Leasing Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the team, leading, coaching, and motivating your team while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. You will work closely with BTR clients and operators, asset managers, and internal stakeholders to maximise leasing performance and deliver against agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Find new clients and schemes and pitch for new business
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing boutique lettings team, fostering a professional, positive, and service-led culture
- Act as a brand ambassador, delivering an exceptional customer journey aligned with Build to Rent values
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key BTR clients, asset managers, and stakeholders
- Set, manage, and monitor individual and team targets and KPIs, including leasing velocity, occupancy, and renewal rates
- Manage revenue, costs, and incentives in line with agreed budgets and client mandates
- Produce accurate, consistent, and timely management and client reports
- Take ownership of escalated complaints, ensuring swift and effective resolution in line with SLAs and brand standards
- Ensure full compliance with residential lettings legislation, Build to Rent operating standards, and company policies
- Oversee lettings systems, processes, and reporting tools to ensure operational efficiency
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing, leasing campaigns, and business planning
- Support new instructions, scheme mobilisations, and portfolio growth within the Build to Rent sector
About You
- 3-5 years experience in residential lettings, ideally with at least 1 year in a management role
- Proven experience in Build to Rent or large-scale residential lettings (preferred)
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- A consistent track record of achieving and exceeding lettings targets and KPIs
- Strong understanding of institutional client expectations and service-level delivery
- Excellent knowledge of residential lettings legislation and compliance
- Commercially astute with a data-driven approach to performance and reporting
- Able to balance client management, team leadership, and hands-on operational delivery
- Strong understanding of the residential rental market and the differences between traditional lettings and Build to Rent
