This role presents a strong opportunity for someone looking to apply deep technical and modelling expertise while working closely with stakeholders across a fast-paced, high-performing team.
About the role
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with data, building models, and solving real-world financial services problems in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll sit at the intersection of analytics, audit, and regulatory change – helping shape how data and modelling are used across the audit lifecycle.
Essential Requirements
- Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph D) in a quantitative field (e. g. mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science, finance or engineering), or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics or modelling within financial services.
- Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing code, outputs and documentation.
- Hands-on data processing skills, including: Data quality assessment, Data cleaning and consolidation, Data analysis and visualisation, Insight interpretation
- Advanced technical skills in Excel and Python, SQL, VBA OR Tableau
- Knowledge of financial asset classes (e. g. derivatives, loans and mortgages).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Desirable Requirements
- Professional qualification held or in progress (e. g. CQF, FRM, CFA, ACA or CIMA).
- Understanding of the financial regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks such as BCBS239.
