Lead the implementation of new electronic trading requirements for Fixed Income products, primarily Bonds and IRDs.

Define and manage product roadmaps aligned with trading, regulatory, and market structure needs.

Partner closely with algo traders, voice traders, quants, and engineering teams.

Oversee product development initiatives across Bonds and rates.

Manage regulatory and market structure-driven enhancements.

Translate trading desk requirements into clear functional specifications.

The Fixed Income eTrading Programme covers three core areas:

  • Algorithmic trading and platform architecture modernisation
  • Product development across Bonds and Interest Rate Derivatives
  • Regulatory compliance and market structure enhancements

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager / Product strategist / Front Office Technologist within Fixed Income trading
  • Strong domain knowledge of:
    • Fixed Income products (Bonds, Rates, Credit, IRDs)
    • Electronic trading platforms and workflows
    • Algorithmic trading and market making
  • Experience working in capital markets / investment banking environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management across front office, technology, and quantitative teams
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex delivery programmes in fast-paced trading environments

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with low-latency trading systems
  • Exposure to regulatory initiatives impacting Fixed Income markets
  • Knowledge of electronic trading protocols (FIX, APIs)
