As a Senior Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering and shaping end-to-end credit risk strategies, covering the full credit lifecycle—from underwriting and portfolio management through to collections and recoveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end credit risk transformation programmes, ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Review and enhance credit risk processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost optimisation
  • Design and implement credit risk frameworks, policies, and target operating models
  • Oversee credit risk audits, due diligence, and assurance activities
  • Support clients in implementing effective risk governance structures (three lines of defence)
  • Drive improvements in underwriting, portfolio management, and reporting capabilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in credit risk management within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of credit processes (underwriting, portfolio management, collections, risk frameworks)
  • Experience across retail, commercial, or wholesale lending
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership
  • Experience in process improvement, transformation, or change delivery
