We are recruiting for a leading global investment bank on a high-impact front office role within their trading environment in London. The team is looking for someone to work directly alongside traders, providing hands‑on support and development expertise on a critical risk and pricing platform. You will be embedded on the trading floor, working in close proximity to traders, quants, and structurers in a fast‑paced and highly demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real‑time support to traders on a core risk and pricing application
  • Develop and enhance functionalities in a Java‑based environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues under time pressure
  • Liaise directly with front office stakeholders (traders, quants, structurers)
  • Interact with global development teams to improve system performance and stability
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools used for risk monitoring and pricing

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong programming skills in Java or another object‑oriented language
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and products
  • Previous experience within a banking environment is required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate in a front office setting
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Strong academic background with a degree in a quantitative field
