We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate customer service assistant to join our fast-paced e-commerce and retail business. Playing a key role within the team your key responsibility will be to assist the Customer Service Team Leader in day-to-day administration duties. We require a positive team player with a proven track record of delivering excellence in customer service, who is a great communicator with good time keeping and attendance levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and accurately maintain administrative systems already in place to manage and track customer orders
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and returning customers by telephone, including dealing with any issues that may arise, order queries and security checks
  • Maintain and grow wholesaler and supplier relationships, including any day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Daily liaising between the website and stores for issues such as procuring stock, arranging deliveries and collections and various other tasks that may arise
  • Taking telephone orders and accurately inputting data
  • Adding products to back office system, including text descriptions, image processing and website management
  • Assisting with supplier orders and stock figures
  • General customer support through systems such as Email, Live Chat and Facebook

Essential skill set required:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A polite and friendly telephone manner
  • The ability to follow instructions and work within the KPI framework
  • Articulate, numerate and PC literate (experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel preferable)
  • A natural problem solver who takes the initiative as the opportunity arises
  • Copes well under pressure and within time scales
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced & high-growth internet environment within a lively team
