Job Title: Site Assistant
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Type: Seasonal contract, 40 hours per week
Location: Candidates must be prepared to work anywhere in the UK (including Scotland and Northern Ireland). We ask that Site Assistants are prepared to work on any of our sites across the UK network. While we appreciate candidates may have site preferences, we cannot guarantee specific locations, and applications will be considered across all available sites.
Important: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a Recruitment Assessment day on Wednesday 14th May at our Blackmore Club Site (WR8 0EE).
Our Site Assistants are responsible for ensuring campers have an excellent experience at our campsites. If you own your own unit and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome all customers in a friendly and professional manner, guiding them to their pitches.
- Maintain the site, undertake minor repairs, and grounds maintenance.
- Perform daily cleaning of site facilities, including toilet and shower blocks, reception, service areas, grease traps, and dog bins.
- Manage bookings via telephone and face-to-face using our bespoke system.
- Oversee customer check-in and check-out, updating the system accordingly.
- Take responsibility for the emergency phone on a rota basis outside normal hours.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions, both on-site and at Greenfields House, Coventry.
- Conduct site inspections and report health and safety concerns to the Site Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a busy customer service environment or team.
- Good computer skills with willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate handheld machinery following training for grounds maintenance.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ownership of a Caravan, Motorhome, Campervan, or RV at the time of application.
Site Assistants work 40 hours over 5 days, which may include weekends and bank holidays, to meet site needs. The Club provides a staff pitch with free electric hookup for the duration of the contract, allowing comfortable living on-site. Entitlement to 28 days of holiday (pro-rata) is included.
