CONTRACT TYPE – Full time, Fixed term contract 12 months, maternity cover - £35k pa - £40k pa

The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring.

We are recruiting for a Production Planner on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role sits within our Marketing department and the role holder will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of complex projects via the studio and agencies, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

The Production Planner will work closely with external agencies (above and below the line) and will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and project reporting and will be pivotal in driving innovation and delivering value to our internal Publications and Marketing teams and wider Club.

Daily duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Head of Creative to ensure the Club’s core values and objectives are adhered to when producing any given project.
  • Develop and maintain clear project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery for the Club.
  • Work with external creative agencies, following their protocols to ensure work is produced to an accurate brief, in good time with clear direction, support and within SLAs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manage project risks and issues, ensuring to develop contingency plans to mitigate potential problems.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and clients, translating client needs into innovative and impactful creative solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and fellow colleagues in the Creative Studio team to manage expectations.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuously evaluate project processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date on our project management system.

We are looking for the following in applications:

  • GCSE/Level 2 equivalent in English.
  • BSc / BA in marketing, communications, business, or project management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working as a creative project manager or production manager in an agency or in-house role.
  • Experience facilitating brainstorming sessions and managing creative workflow.
  • Proven ability to manage complex creative projects from concept to completion.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, team members and agencies.
