Camphill Community Glencraig is currently recruiting for the following vacancy: The Deputy Facilities Manager is responsible for the management, safety, and compliance of the organisations physical environment, ensuring facilities are functional, compliant, and fit for purpose. The post holder supports day to day facilities operations and deputises for the Facilities Manager as required, including line management of a small maintenance team. The role also involves participation in the on call system to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Closing date: 4pm Friday 5th June 2026
Salary: £37,668.80 - £42,527.60 per annum. £50 on call retainer
Hours of Work: 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Length of Contract: Permanent
Essential Criteria:
- HND or Foundation Degree in Facilities Management / Building Services or Construction OR Level 5 Diploma or equivalent in Facilities Management or similar.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing maintenance services
- Experience of leading a staff team.
- Ability to produce board reports, business cases and presentations.
- Commitment to highest standards in health and safety.
- Experience in delivering contractor safety briefings and ensuring ongoing compliance throughout projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software
