Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) Day Opportunities are recruiting for a Programme Facilitator in the Callan / Slievenamon Service. CCoI supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.
We are currently recruiting for Programme Facilitators to join our team in Callan.
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Part-time (35 hours per week)
- Salary: β¬36,275 - β¬43,860 per annum

What you will need:
- Hold a qualification at Level 6 or above on the QQI Framework - or equivalent qualification in Community/Health, Social Care or Education.
- Have 2 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
- Experience of running programmes for adults with an intellectual disability/autism.
- An understanding of the New Directions model of day support services, as developed by the HSE.
- Willingness to work in promoting the New Directions model within your role.
- An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
- Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
- A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
- An ability to contribute towards the support, coaching, managing, motivating and developing a mixed workforce of volunteers and employees.
