We are a local family run business that, due to continued expansion, now requires an additional Administrator to join our existing dedicated and professional team to be based within our HR department. We run a fleet of over 110 vehicles with a diverse client base; ranging from general haulage to specialised glass.

The right candidate will be required to liaise with the Personnel Manager to deliver various completed tasks within a very busy transport office., * Liaise with the Personnel Manager and other Admin staff.

  • Understand and help develop current operating systems.

  • Maintain relationships with drivers and site staff.

  • Keep company procedures up to date and figure reporting.

  • Processing HR documents.

  • Tachograph Audits.

Previous experience is essential as the right candidate will be required to hit the ground running and have a good understanding of some of the below.

  • Tachographs.

  • Working time.

  • Accident and incidents.

  • Driver training.

  • Driver defects.

  • Driver behaviour reports.

  • HR.

  • Accounts, * Must be computer literate

  • Attention detail is of the upmost importance.

  • Previous transport experience – Preferred

  • A willingness to help other members of the team.

  • Must be able to Plan/Organise own workload.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Excellent Communication skills.

  • A flexible attitude.

  • Be reliable and conscientious.

  • Able to work under pressure.

  • Good communication & organisational skills.

  • Be able to multi-task, prioritise and manage own workload.

  • Work neatly and accurately.

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Good job progression for the right candidate.

  • Working hours to be agreed but to include Mondays and Fridays, * Transport Administration: 1 year (preferred)

Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience.

Training is provided by the current office team where you can grow and develop within the role.

The role is flexible in terms of working hours and can be managed around other responsibilities.
