We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our Wines and Spirits Analysis team, delivering accurate analytical results using established methods and working with our LIMS system.
- Carry out analysis of wines and spirits according to instructions, within agreed timescales.
- Maintain full and up-to-date records of all work performed, both manually and automated, including all aspects of quality control.
- Calibration, maintenance and daily monitoring of laboratory equipment, e.g. balances and pipettes.
- Learn new analytical techniques as required.
- Communicate daily with your line manager and colleagues to give and receive instructions and exchange information.
- Highlight uncertainties and questions, seeking clarification from your line manager where needed.
- Coordinate your own workload to meet defined deadlines and contribute to ongoing improvement and efficiency activities.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with departmental policies, adhering to risk assessments and using protective equipment where required.

- Great attention to detail.
- Able to commute to Chipping Campden five days a week.
- Own vehicle and valid UK Driving License.
