We’re looking for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our HS&E team based at our Chipping Campden site. This is a primarily on-site role, with occasional travel to our Guildford location.
As a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor, you’ll support the HS&E Manager in the coordination, monitoring, and improvement of our health, safety, and environmental management systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising, encouraging, and supporting compliance with HS&E policies and legal requirements
- Supporting the implementation and continual improvement of HS&E management systems
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments, safety inspections and incident investigations with suitable root cause analysis
- Managing HS&E data, analysing trends, and compiling reports for senior management
- Supporting HS&E representatives and encouraging engagement across the business
- Delivering and organising HS&E training to raise awareness and competence
- Promoting best practice and helping develop new safety initiatives
We’re keen to hear from enthusiastic and proactive individuals with a strong interest in health, safety, and environmental standards. You might be a good fit if you have:
- ANEBOSH Certificate (Level 3 or equivalent) as a minimum qualification
- A-levels or equivalent qualification (a degree in a scientific or technical field is advantageous)
- 2-3 years’ experience within an HS&E environment
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and leading incident investigations
- Good understanding of HS&E legislation and its application in the workplace
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
