We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits. Campden BRI offers analytical chemistry testing to our members and clients, which allows them to ensure their food & drink products are safe for consumers. We offer a range of testing; shelf life, allergens, foreign body identification, packaging, contaminants, vitamins, sugars and many more.
Our Sample Handling Team ensure that samples are received, checked in, processed and passed onto our scientists to perform testing/analysis. If you're looking to move into a Monday-Friday office based role then click apply now! We will consider applications who don't have previous experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Sample reception - receiving deliveries and unpacking samples, shipping of parcels/post.
- Liaising with couriers.
- Logging samples into LIMS (lab software) and storage.
- Other duties as agreed, depending on experience (lab based or administrative).
- Assisting the Sample Administrator in maintaining an efficient workflow through the laboratory.
- Supporting sample preparation - mixing and blending samples.
- Preparing food & drink samples for chemistry testing.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Practically minded and able to work in a team.
- Good organisational skills in managing own workload.
