We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits.

The Food Composition team analyses food & drink to provide nutritional values.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Routine analysis of foodstuffs and associated materials using a variety of methods.
  • Updating QC records, basic maintenance and checks of laboratory equipment.
  • Preparation and administration of samples.
  • General Admin in the Section as required.
  • General laboratory housekeeping duties.
  • Training and supervising staff as required.

  • Good organisational skills in managing own workload.
  • Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work on a number of tasks and manage priorities.
