We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits.
The Food Composition team analyses food & drink to provide nutritional values.
What you’ll be doing:
- Routine analysis of foodstuffs and associated materials using a variety of methods.
- Updating QC records, basic maintenance and checks of laboratory equipment.
- Preparation and administration of samples.
- General Admin in the Section as required.
- General laboratory housekeeping duties.
- Training and supervising staff as required.

- Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work on a number of tasks and manage priorities.
