Our support services cover all non-scientific business needs, including: IT, finance, HR, compliance, governance, legal and risk, facilities and engineering, catering, sales, marketing, and scientific affairs.
IT Team
You will be working with the wider IT team to support and maintain the group’s IT (VoIP and mobile telephony) systems and to support users. This role is site based at our offices in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. Due to our rural location you must have a valid driving license and your own transport. You will be working Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5:15pm and Fridays 8:45am to 4:30pm.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide IT systems and user support as part of the team, with a focus on ensuring the users’ business needs are met, and offering 1st and 2nd line technical assistance to our user base.
- Collaborate with the IT Systems Manager to evaluate and improve technological efficiency, while identifying opportunities to streamline procedures within the team.
- Build relationships with end users to increase IT presence & visibility across Campden BRI.
- Provide documentation and user training where appropriate.
What we’re looking for
- Educated to BTEC / HND level or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience in IT Services / Operations, ideally Microsoft qualified.
- Any knowledge or previous experience with Azure and/or Intune would be beneficial.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments with a good understanding of their features.
- Excellent knowledge of building, setting up, and deploying Microsoft Windows 11 devices.
- Strong understanding of computer security and Active Directory.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with end users.
