At Campden BRI, our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting a world‑leading food and drink research organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders across scientific, technical and business functions, the team provides robust financial reporting, planning and analysis that enables informed decision‑making and supports the delivery of our strategic objectives.
As we continue to evolve and strengthen our Financial Planning & Analysis capability, we are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing FP&A function, providing valuable insight and partnering with managers across the business to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles
- Preparing financial analysis, management reports and performance insights for stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support business planning and decision making
- Supporting monthly management reporting, KPI tracking and variance analysis
- Partnering with budget holders and managers to review financial performance and challenge assumptions
- Assisting with cash flow and forecasting and working capital analysis
- Supporting with continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems and reporting tools
- Analysing trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable financial support
- Supporting scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to aid business decision‑making
- Contributing to the development of dashboard, management information and reporting automation
- What we’re looking for
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting
- Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
- Strong excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes
- Ability to analyse complex financial information and communicate insights clearly
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- A proactive and solutions‑focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working within a medium‑size organisation
