Salary: £50,000 basic + annual bonus
Role Description: This is a position in a niche private wealth market for a confident and highly organised B2B Conference Event Manager with a minimum of 3 years' experience of high level, proven Conference management, operations and logistics expertise. A successful candidate will be expected to deliver consistent results correlated to targets across Campden Wealth's European event portfolio and the annual flagship Congress in UAE. International travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and selecting excellent venues for Campden forums in London and outside the UK, with attention to detail and within the agreed budget.
- Providing the events team and the company with full operational support, which includes, but not limited to liaising with corporate partners, sponsors, and venues; organising event apps and digital agendas; booking reception venues and sending out post event feedback; running events on the day in London and internationally.
- Managing the event audience: qualifying guests, managing regular communication and managing contacts and lists in the company CRM timely and diligently.
- Forward planning and project-managing events strictly to budgets, reconciling all costs after events completion and reporting the results to the Head of Events EMEA and the Director of Finance.
- Developing harmonious relationships with all key Campden members, partners and sponsors.
- Undertaking other duties as required by direct report.

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B conference/congress/summit event management.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality business events, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with venue providers, suppliers and budgets.
- Diligent forward planning and organisational skills with strong attention to detail and discipline.
- Ability to find and negotiate cost-effective solutions with strong adherence to budget requirements.
- Excellent team-player able to work calmly in a pressured environment.
- Excellent writing and customer service skills as the candidate will be expected to communicate with clients on a regular basis and prepare written post-event reports.
- The applicant must be able to live and work in the UK and travel internationally without visas as well as speak excellent English.
